Dry panniers were designed for use in extremely wet conditions. They are not scared of heavy rains or rapid streams. Securo 680 fabric coated both on the inside and on the outside does not let water stay on its surface let alone soak through. Pannier panels are welded which takes care of the problem waterproofing seams, simply because there are no seams to waterproof. Additional strengths of the DRY system are low price and weight plus high loading capacity.
